Surrey's £50,000 to help business start-ups

Surrey County Council is investing £50,000 to help business start-ups get off the ground, grow and create jobs. The Council has joined forces with the Fredericks Foundation, which lends to people who may have been turned down for a bank loan. The money will be used to help businesses with great start-up ideas and provide business advice for new and recently launched businesses as they seek to develop.

The Data Protection Laws are changing - are you ready?

If you are currently in a contract with Surrey County Council which includes processing of personal data
and that continues beyond May 25th 2018, we will be contacting you in the coming months to ask you to
provide sufficient guarantees on your ability to protect subjects’ rights and comply with new
data protection regulation.

For all other suppliers, please note that all future tenders will require you to be compliant with new data
